About the event
Get ready to breathe new energy with our Reparenting Through Breath: An Inner Child Integration Experience this January at CommuniTea Yoga and Retreats.
Step into a space designed to help you feel safe, supported, and fully seen. This guided breathwork experience invites you to connect with your inner child, strengthen your internal sense of safety, and cultivate trust and compassion for yourself.
In this 90-minute journey, you’ll be gently guided through conscious connected breathwork, somatic awareness, and reflective practices that focus on reparenting your inner self. Expect a supportive environment to practice self-soothing, build internal trust, and embody the care and presence your younger self needed.
No prior experience is necessary — just curiosity and a willingness to meet yourself with compassion.
Reparenting Through Breath: An Inner Child Integration Experience
There is a younger part of you that learned how to survive.
Maybe it became independent too quickly.
Maybe it stayed quiet to keep the peace.
Maybe it tried to be perfect.
Maybe it learned not to need anyone.
This workshop is about something different.
Rather than revisiting the past, we focus on what you can offer yourself now — safety, steadiness, reassurance, and care.
Through guided breathwork and reflective practices, you’ll be invited to step into the role of the supportive adult your inner child may not have consistently had. This is about building internal trust, strengthening self-support, and creating a felt sense of security from within.
The Focus of This Experience
Learning how to self-soothe through breath
Creating internal safety and nervous system stability
Strengthening your “inner adult” presence
Releasing survival roles that no longer serve you
Practicing compassionate self-leadership
This session is less about catharsis and more about regulation, integration, and empowerment.
Why Reparenting Work Matters
When our younger parts still feel unsafe, our adult life can feel reactive — in relationships, work, boundaries, and self-worth. Reparenting is the practice of responding to yourself differently than you were responded to in the past. Over time, this builds resilience, emotional regulation, and a deeper sense of self-trust.
Breathwork allows us to access these layers gently and somatically — beyond just talking about it.
This Workshop Is For You If You:
Notice you’re highly self-critical
Struggle with boundaries or over-giving
Feel emotionally reactive in close relationships
Want to feel more grounded and secure within yourself
Are ready to shift from survival mode to self-support
What the Evening Will Include
Grounding + nervous system education
Guided breathwork journey
Partnered or solo reflective prompts
Practical reparenting tools you can use daily
Gentle integration space
No previous breathwork experience needed.
A Different Kind of Inner Child Work
This isn’t about “fixing” yourself.
It’s about becoming someone your younger self would feel safe with.
And that changes everything.

AGENDA
6:00 PM : Welcome & Intention Setting
Tonight, we’ll open our circle by gently grounding into the present moment, connecting with the parts of ourselves that may need care, reassurance, or support. You’ll be welcomed into a safe, compassionate space to be introduced to conscious connected breathing and to begin exploring what it feels like to offer safety and presence to your inner child.
You’ll be invited to notice where you may carry tension, self-doubt, or protective patterns in the body and mind. Through simple, guided writing prompts, you’ll set a personal intention for your experience and practice extending compassion, patience, and gentle guidance to the parts of yourself that are ready to feel seen, held, and trusted — creating space for groundedness, inner stability, and self-support.
6:15 PM : Conscious Connected Breathwork
As we begin, we’ll move into conscious connected breathwork—using continuous, grounded breathing to cultivate a sense of internal safety and presence. Step into a 30-minute journey inward, allowing yourself to connect with your inner child, notice where support is needed, and strengthen your capacity for self-trust. This safe, supportive space is designed to help you nurture, reassure, and embody the care your younger self may have longed for—leaving you feeling centered, grounded, and empowered.
6:45 PM : Sound Healing + Reiki Energy Work
We’ll transition into Sound Healing and Reiki to support a sense of internal safety, balance, and integration. The gentle vibrations and subtle energetic guidance help your body feel held, calm the nervous system, and reinforce the nurturing connection you’ve cultivated with your inner self—allowing you to embody reassurance, stability, and self-trust.
7:00 PM : Reflection and Integration
We’ll close with a gentle written reflection, honoring the parts of yourself you connected with and nurtured during the session. If you feel called, you’ll have the opportunity to share, and we’ll conclude together with a collective breath and grounding mantra—reinforcing the safety, care, and self-trust you’ve cultivated, leaving you feeling supported, centered, and empowered.

We’re honored to welcome back our special guest Reiki Practitioner, Lindy Morrow, who will be offering gentle, grounding energy work throughout the session. Her presence adds another layer of support, helping participants settle more deeply into their process of release and renewal. Through Reiki, she invites a sense of balance and calm, complementing the breathwork experience and encouraging a steady connection between body, mind, and emotion.
Together, we’re here to hold space for your journey, offering guidance, tools, and support as you embrace your authentic self and unlock the transformative potential of this practice.

After a breathwork session focused on emotional release and renewal, participants often experience:
Self-Awareness: Noticing patterns, emotions, and beliefs that have been quietly shaping your life.
Emotional Release: Softening, letting go, and making space for what no longer serves you.
Integration: Welcoming back parts of yourself that seek acknowledgment, understanding, and care.
Clarity: Gaining insight into your triggers, habits, and emotional rhythms as you prepare for the year ahead.
Physical Shifts: Gentle sensations of warmth, tingling, or energy moving through the body.
Grounding: A balanced, regulated nervous system and a deeper sense of presence.
Reflection: Moments of insight and understanding through integration practices or journaling.
This experience offers a safe and supportive space to release what’s been held, restore balance, and step into the new year feeling lighter, centered, and aligned.
